Bicom Systems’ PBXware is a widely deployed business PBX, but if your team manages leads, clients or support work in monday.com, there is no built-in bridge between the two. The Capable PBXware app is currently the only integration connecting PBXware to monday.com.
This guide covers what the integration does today, what is coming next, and how to set it up.
PBXware routes outbound calls using outbound rules, which match on number prefixes. The integration puts those rules to work inside monday.com: you define a prefix rule per board via the app’s board automation, and when your team clicks to dial from that board, the number is automatically prefixed and ready to route correctly.
This is most useful when one PBXware system serves several brands, clients or regions, each with its own outbound trunk or caller ID. Give each monday.com board its own prefix rule, and calls from that board always leave through the right route. No manual dialling prefixes, no mis-routed calls.
Two bigger features are in active development:
Both already exist in our 3CX integration, which the PBXware app follows closely. If you want either feature, contact us to join the waitlist. Waitlist interest decides what ships first, and we will let you know the moment it is live.
Install the app from the Capable PBXware page by clicking “Add to monday.com”, and authorise it for your account.
In your PBXware admin, review the outbound rules and note the prefix fields they match on. The integration’s prefixing follows these rules, so confirm they are set up the way you expect. One prefix per route or brand is the usual pattern.
On each monday.com board your team dials from, add the app’s board automation and configure the prefix that board should use. From then on, numbers dialled from that board are automatically prefixed. The full documentation includes a video walkthrough.
Does this work with any PBXware edition? The integration works with PBXware systems where you can manage outbound rules. If you are unsure about your setup, ask us before you commit and we will check.
Can it log calls to monday.com yet? Not yet. Call logging and caller lookup are the next features on the roadmap (see above). Join the waitlist via the contact page to be notified.
We use a different phone system. We also integrate 3CX (see the complete 3CX guide), Dialpad (see the Dialpad setup guide), and Aircall with monday.com.
